(P)SAT Core for Reading and Writing
(P)SAT Core Reading and Writing is perfect for ambitious, high-achieving freshman and sophomore students seeking early practice on the SAT Reading, Writing and Essay sections.
Our students get a headstart on SAT preparation, learning key skills for excelling in their remaining high school years.
This course is 14 sessions – 28 sessions.
At MEK Review, we equip students with the right tools for big leaps in scores. Our expert teachers guide students with key strategies, proven materials, and clear objectives to lead them to success.
We monitor student progress and build up test-taking skills through professional SAT Reading and Writing sections that stimulate test-day environments.
We don’t give out the answers — our teachers coach students on how to think. Each student learns strategies and skills for arriving at the right answers independently.
We offer detailed score reports that analyze student performance data after each practice test, a powerful tool that pinpoints areas of weaknesses and improvement.
We teach students to take ownership of their progress through persistent communications and feedback on improvements, weaknesses, and mindset.
Students receive benchmarks (mini-tests), skill drills, quizzes, and other key assignments to intimately learn SAT exam content and monitor their short-term progress.
Students practice writing full-length essays to SAT prompts, learning how to earn a top score through critical thinking, effective analysis, and sharp writing.
Our (P)SAT courses are available at both Palisades Park and Closter locations. To accommodate strict schedules, students may join a course or private tutoring at any time. However, we strongly recommend at least 14 sessions for maximum improvement in scores.
I got into Princeton! I just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you for all the hard work done on your part and the constant support I received. I would not be here had you guys not believed in me.
“With your professional and kind guidance, our son received a very high score in the writing part of the PARCC test. He has improved significantly since taking classes at MEK.”
Although it was an intensive program and it took up most of my summer, my improvements are clear, and I’m much more confident going in and taking the test than I was before the program.
