SAT Math II

Our SAT Math II test prep course is perfect for students looking to showcase their mathematical skills. On average, over 70% of MEK students earn a perfect 800 after completing our course.

The Mathematics Level 2 Subject Test covers the same material as the Mathematics Level 1 test — with the addition of trigonometry and elementary functions (pre-calculus).

SAT BIOLOGY

Our SAT Biology course is ideal for students interested in pre-med or science majors. The course teaches content mastery and important strategies for both versions of the SAT Biology test.

The first version is Biology Ecological (Bio E), which tests understanding of biological communities, populations and energy flow. The second version is Biology Molecular (Bio M), which tests micro-concepts. Students will familiarize and learn key skills for both.

SAT CHEMISTRY

Our SAT Chemistry course is ideal for students interested in an engineering or science major.

The Chemistry test requires students to apply principles and trends in order to solve problems, draw conclusions from data, and identify causal relationships in a very short amount of time.

In our SAT Chemistry course, students learn to become intimately familiar with directly and indirectly proportional relationships and scientific notations.

SAT PHYSICS

Our SAT Physics course is ideal for students seeking to pursue a STEM major.

The Physics test requires students to recall and identify trends in major concepts, interpret data presented as graphs, and draw conclusions from directly and indirectly proportional relationships. In our SAT Physics course, students in this course become familiar with metric units and scientific notation, as well as develop strong number sense.

SAT LITERATURE

Our SAT Literature course is ideal for students who scored high on the SAT Reading and Writing section and seek to showcase their advanced aptitude for the humanities.

The Literature test is a highly skills-based exam. In our SAT Literature course, students learn to analyze and interpret literature. The course covers poetry, prose, and drama from the Renaissance period to present day, with the goal of teaching students a strong understanding of context, specialized terms, and figurative language.

SAT U.S. HISTORY

Our SAT U.S. History course is ideal for students pursuing a humanities major.

The test covers material from pre-Colonial America up to modern times. Students in this course will not only gain knowledge about significant historical eras, people, movements, and legislation, but also learn how to interpret primary sources from a historical context.

This course also covers all relevant material for the AP History exam.

TOOLS FOR STUDENT SUCCESS

At MEK Review, we equip students with the right tools for big leaps in scores. Our expert teachers guide students with key strategies, proven materials, and clear objectives to lead them to success.

Simulation Tests

We monitor student progress and build up test-taking skills through full-length, professional College Board tests that stimulate test-day environments.

Expert Instruction

We don’t give out the answers — our teachers coach students on how to think. Each student learns strategies and skills for arriving at the right answers independently.

Comprehensive Lectures

Subject tests require a wide and deep knowledge of an academic subject. Our teachers give lectures that cover all the topics on the test.

Constant Guidance and Communication

We teach students to take ownership of their progress through persistent communications and feedback on improvements, weaknesses, and mindset.

Quizzes and Drills

Students receive skill drills, quizzes, and other key assignments to intimately learn SAT exam content and monitor their short-term progress.

Mindset Building

We teach students test techniques that eliminate silly mistakes, increase mental endurance, recognize common SAT traps, and help them think like a test-maker.

Schedule

Our group classes are scheduled in Spring to prepare students for the May and June official tests. However, private tutoring is available all year around. Either way, we strongly recommend students take 20 sessions to maximize their scores.
