MEK’s SAT Prep programs are designed to meet students at every stage of their test prep journey — from foundational skill-building to advanced test-taking strategies. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming for a top score, we offer a program tailored to your needs.

PROGRAM OFFERINGS

SAT Foundation

For students currently scoring 1150 or below

A group course focused on building core academic skills and study habits essential for SAT success. Perfect for students new to test prep or needing to strengthen foundational knowledge.

Key Features:

  • Covers English and Math sections
  • Step-by-step guidance on:
    • Solving word problems
    • Finding textual evidence
    • Tackling inference questions
  • Builds confidence to master Module 1 and prepare for Module 2

  • Duration: 20 sessions
  • Format: Hybrid (virtual or in-person)
  • Schedule: Fall, Spring, Summer
  • Session Length: 90 min English + 90 min Math

SAT 1400

For students scoring 1200+ or graduates of SAT Foundation

A group course for students targeting a score of 1400 or higher. Each session includes a full-length practice test followed by expert review and strategy instruction.

  • Recommended Length: 20+ sessions
  • Format: Hybrid (virtual or in-person)
  • Schedule: Summer, Fall, Spring

SAT 1500

For students scoring 1300+ or graduates of SAT 1400

Designed for top-performing students aiming for a 1500+ score. Focuses on advanced practice and mastering Module 2 of the Digital SAT.

  • Handling challenging Module 2 questions
  • Strengthening mental stamina and confidence

SAT 1500 ADVANCED

For students who have taken an official SAT and seek final score improvement

Helps students fine-tune strategies and address hidden weaknesses.

  • Recommended Length: 10–14 sessions
  • Format: Hybrid (virtual or in-person)
  • Schedule: Summer, Fall, Spring
  • Session Structure: 60–90 min English + 60–90 min Math + simulation test + assignments

SAT Private Tutoring

One-on-one instruction tailored to individual goals

Personalized SAT prep with expert instructors, following the same curriculum as group classes but at a customized pace.

Ideal for students who:

  • Need individualized attention
  • Have busy schedules
  • Want to catch up or accelerate

  • Minimum: 10 sessions
    Session Length: 60 min
  • Practice Exams: Required
  • Format: Hybrid (virtual or in-person)

SAT Vocabulary Clinic

Targeted vocabulary training for SAT success

Helps students build advanced vocabulary for the SAT English section.
Recommended based on test prep progress.

Program Details:

  • Schedule: Summer only
  • Frequency: Once a week
  • Session Length: 60 min
  • Format: Virtual only

SAT D.Q. (Difficult Question) Clinic

Master the toughest SAT Math questions

Focuses on building stamina and confidence to tackle the most challenging SAT Math problems.
Recommended based on test prep progress.

Program Details:

  • Schedule: All seasons
  • Frequency: Once a week
  • Session Length: 60 min
  • Format: Virtual only

Student Progress & Promotion 

At MEK, we recognize each student’s unique learning style and pace. Students are encouraged to move up to the next level — from Foundation to 1400, or 1400 to 1500 — as soon as they demonstrate meaningful progress. We don’t cap growth; we support it.

GETTING STARTED

Every student interested in entering our College Test Prep program must complete the following steps:

  1. Sign up for a SAT Evaluation Test.
  2. Receive our detailed score report and meet with one of our Academic Counselors to discuss recommendations for next steps.
  3. Enroll in the SAT program that best fits your child’s needs and academic goals.

Experienced test-takers, including students who have taken the official SAT at least one time, can use their results to register for SAT exam prep.
