MEK Labs

Private Tutoring and Academic Counseling Services

Students may re-schedule tutoring/ACS sessions without penalty if they cancel at least 24 hours before the expected meeting.

If a student fails to cancel within the minimum 24-hour notice period, he or she will lose the option to reschedule (and will not receive credit for the missed session).

If the student appropriately notifies MEK in advance and cannot reschedule the session, he or she will receive full credit to be applied to future program registration.

Group Classes and Exam Prep

BCA Prep Session I & II, and H.S. Admission Dual Preps
No make-up class or credit is allowed. If a student is absent from class, he or she will complete make-up sessions by watching mandatory video-recorded lectures.

For classes that are video-recorded, he or she will complete make-up sessions by watching the missed lectures online.

If a video lecture is unavailable for the student’s missed session, he or she must attend another scheduled class within the same course/program.

If he or she is unable to take advantage of the above make-up procedures, MEK will give students the opportunity to receive a compensate to 60% of his or her session rate. The credit is non-transferrable and must be used within the following two (2) semesters.
