Student of the Week: Oscar Kim
August 16, 2024
Each week of summer, MEK Review teachers nominate a student to be awarded Student of the Week. This student is chosen due to his or her amazing performance, inspiring improvement, or great attitude in our Summer courses.
For Week 5, our teachers nominated Oscar Kim from our SAT 1400 English Course!
“From my SAT 1400 Virtual English class, I nominate Oscar Kim for student of the week. He has been a high-achieving student from the first day as he diligently completes all of his assignments and scores well on tests. One thing that impressed me about Oscar is that he makes sure he leaves every session with a full understanding of any errors that he may have made on his test(s). He has been recommended to move onto SAT 1500.”
– Ivan Yang, SAT 1400 English Instructor
Out of over 545 students, Oscar was chosen by his teachers to be Student of the Week because of his diligence, his achievements, and his interest in learning from his mistakes.
Let’s learn a little bit more about our Student of the Week:
I like how we are able to go over the test after we take it.
I’ve learned many different and efficient ways to solve problems in math. For English, my vocabulary improved a lot as well as my reading comprehension skills.
I’m not too sure yet…
I like to play soccer and hang out with my friends.
We’re so proud of our hardworking Student of the Week. We can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish next!
