What’s New in Summer 2025: AP & High School Honors Prep
Summer is a great time for your child to get ahead and sharpen their academic skills. Many students fall behind in the summer and end up struggling when the school year begins. But at MEK, we won’t let that happen! When you plan for a summer at MEK, you can increase your potential and get ahead of the new school year. And if you register by May 2nd, you can get 10% off all summer classes! This summer, take advantage of our AP & High School Honors Prep so that your child doesn’t fall behind.
More Hybrid Options
With our expanded hybrid program, students can choose whether to take classes in person or virtually to allow for even greater flexibility than ever before. Summer can be a busy time, but we want to make sure your child doesn’t miss out on essential prep. Our hybrid classes are also taught by our most experienced instructors so that students have the opportunity to learn from them both in-person and virtually!
AP Course Prep
This summer, MEK is offering AP courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Calculus AB. With MEK’s AP course prep, your child can learn key concepts, subject-specific question types, and study skills. They’ll develop time management skills, test-taking confidence, and content mastery. With MEK, we can ensure classroom success! Our curriculum is CollegeBoard-aligned, with comprehensive instruction for all question types and extensive resources for practice.
Why Spend the Summer with MEK’s AP Prep?
The AP curriculum at any school is aligned to CollegeBoard’s AP Central. However, not every teacher teaches the AP curriculum in the same way. So for many students, it’s beneficial to learn a large part of the AP curriculum before the school year even starts. That way, they can focus on doing well on assignments and tests while others are still learning the material.
The AP Course Prep program at MEK teaches students more than 65% of the AP curriculum before the school year starts, setting students up for classroom success. Then, in the spring, we offer AP Test Prep, designed to help these same students hone their test-taking skills so that that can get top scores on their AP tests in May.
