We are seeking talented, motivated writers excited to craft content for a variety of channels, with a strong focus on our educational blog! Content will feature subjects that interest students and parents from grades 1-12, including exam preparation and school success tips.
Open to college students seeking internship credit, as well as valuable editorial experience.

Key Qualifications
- Internship Eligibility: Must be working towards a four-year college degree in Marketing or Communications with 0 – 2 years of experience
- Full-Time Eligibility: Must have a four-year degree in Marketing or Communications with 1 – 5 years of experience in a related field
A portfolio may be requested upon further review of an application. Evenings and weekends may be required. Salaries are commensurate with experience.
Education & Experience
- A four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or related subject (or working towards)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills

If you become better at something, you tend to like it even more. At MEK, students learn to enjoy math in order to get better, and as they get better, they like it even more.

MEK meets students at their given level and seeks to challenge them to realize all of their potential. I love teaching here because of how rewarding it is to see the moment when a student realizes that he or she has what it takes to achieve their future goals.
MEK is a fantastic program because it is always evolving. We are always looking for new ways to both challenge and support our student. I also love watching students evolve as writers. They improve not only their grammar and structure, but also their ideas, analysis, and ultimately their confidence!
As an English teacher for 10 years, I have found that one of the best things about teaching and being in the classroom is that I have the opportunity to shape minds, hearts, and humans. It is awesome!
MEK is the best in test preparation because we know these tests inside and out and teach students proven strategies. One of my favorite parts of teaching is that moment when you watch something that seemed so hard for a student suddenly becomes easy. It can feel like magic, but that “click” moment is actually the result of a lot of hard work and planning.
Exam Prep teachers at MEK not only know everything about the exams, but they spend a lot of time studying their students to generate the best outcomes. I like to think of myself as a coach guiding students to win that “big game."
