Spring 2022 High School Honors Course: Transform Your Child’s Academic Track

This year MEK is offering High School Honors courses that are specifically designed to help two different types of students. One is students in 8th and 9th grade who are currently taking a Pre-Calculus, Algebra II, or Geometry course, and are doing okay, but need some additional help to really master the concepts and excel in the classroom. The second is for 8th and 9th graders who are not currently taking Pre-Calculus, Algebra II, Geometry, or high schools Honors English, but wish to get a huge headstart on preparing for these honors courses in the upcoming fall semester.

  • Advanced English
  • Algebra II
  • Geometry
  • Pre-Calculus

 
Course Details

[vc_row][vc_column width=’1/6′]Class Size:[/vc_column][vc_column width=’5/6′]Class sizes are limited to ensure an interactive experience with individualized attention for each student. (Class maximum size is 15 students, but often the size is more around 10 students per class.)[/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column width=’1/6′]Sessions:[/vc_column][vc_column width=’5/6′]For students enrolled in Pre-Calculus, Geometry, and Algebra II, there are 20 sessions starting at the beginning of February. Advanced English has 18 session starting mid-February.[/vc_column][/vc_row]

Who Should Enroll in this Course

  • Students who are getting B’s and C’s in their current Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or Geometry Course
  • Students who want to excel in the classroom and on standardized tests
  • Students who are planning to take advanced and challenging honors courses or college admission tests in the future
