Summer 2019: Pranav Gupta, Teacher of the Week

Teacher of the Week

Each of the 7 weeks of summer, we shine a spotlight on one of our hard-working teachers who inspire us with their dedication to their students.

For  Week 2, we chose Pranav Gupta to be our Teacher of the Week!

Meet Pranav Gupta

As Exam Prep coordinator, Pranav teaches SAT, ACT, SAT Subject, Exam Prep 8, and MAPC math at Closter Campus while keeping things running smoothly on our Closter Exam Prep team.

His positive attitude, connections with his student, and amazing results motivate us to always keep striving towards our goals!

Quote from Pranav:

“At MEK we spend a lot of time studying our students to generate the best outcomes. I like to think of myself as a coach guiding students to win that big game.”

Quotes from Pranav’s students:

“I like how [Mr. Gupta] writes out problems step by step and always provides tips/tricks to get an answer as fast as possible.”

– Razil F. (Exam Prep 8)

“I like that [Mr. Gupta’s] personality shows through his teaching style. He is very funny, but also very smart. He makes sure everyone understands the question before moving on.”

-Dina G. (SAT A)

“Mr. Gupta always goes the extra mile to make sure the class understands the topics being discussed, no matter how difficult or easy. He clearly cares about his students’ success and their goals. He respects your level of understanding, and always pushes you to try harder.”

– Paul P. (SAT A)

“What I like is that [Mr. Gupta] never makes you feel bad for getting a question wrong. He will make sure to explain the problem to you until you understand it.”

– Lily G. (SAT A)

Way to go, Pranav!

MEK is proud of our Teacher of the Week and can’t wait to see what you’ll do next!
