Arya’s Story
When second grader Arya first arrived at Reading Lab, she had a low reading ability that placed her within the bottom 30 percentile of second-grade class. After completing 19 sessions of Reading Lab and receiving expert guidance, Arya made a huge leap from a 447 to a 670 Lexile level, surpassing her fellow second-graders.
Jimmy’s Story
Sixth-grader Jimmy began his Labs with a Lexile level that placed him at the bottom 1% of readers for his grade. After completing 15 sessions of Vocabulary Lab and 10 sessions of Writing Lab, Jimmy was reading at an impressive seventh-grade level, had expanded his knowledge by 160 new words, and wrote excellent essays at a 6/6 level.
