SAT 1500Course Description: SAT Foundation is a group course, designed for students currently scoring below 600 on the Math or English section of the SAT. This course increases foundational knowledge and improves study skills. Students will master topics covered in the Reading, Writing, and Math sections of the SAT. Expert teachers will coach students to effectively improve study habits and boost the logical reasoning, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills required to increase scores on the SAT.
Placement Requirements: Students must currently score below 600 on the English or Math section of the SAT. Once students meet the minimum requirements to graduate from the course, they can move onto SAT 1400. This course is 8 weeks, and 16 sessions. However, students who meet exit plan requirements may move on to SAT 1400 at any time after 4 weeks of the course.
Registration Steps: Students need to submit an inquiry. Once their inquiry is received, they will sign up to take a placement exam. Students will then be placed into a specific course level based on their score and given

Tests are followed by review with expert instructors, where students learn test content and content related skills, along with proven strategies to get them to their goal score.

Through MLC Critical Reading, students build confidence in their reading and writing skills that they can use both in school and for future admissions exams.
Placement Requirements: Specific schedule/placement is determined by grade level and class. Students must earn a minimum score on the evaluation test to qualify for Critical Reading class.

In groups of 4-8, students master problem solving techniques based on the math concepts taught during each session. Students engage in short lectures, timed assessments, and immediate interactive reviews of completed work with the guidance of expert teachers.
Placement Requirements: Specific schedule/placement is determined by grade level and class. Students are recommended to take ONS Circles before they take PSM Circles, as the ONS Circles will build a strong number sense foundation for students to build problem solving understanding upon.
