MCVSD Entrance Exam Boot Camp
Over December and January, MEK Review will offer 16-day special boot camp for students who have applied to Monmouth County Vocational School District and want to prepare for the MCVSD entrance exam.

MCVSD Entrance Exam
Monmouth County Vocational School District is home to 5 highly ranked secondary programs in New Jersey. Below are the names of the programs and their rankings as a New Jersey High School according to U.S. News & World Report:
- High Technology High School – #2
- Monmouth County Biotechnology High School – #7
- Marine Academy of Science and Technology – #12
- Monmouth County Academy of Allied Health and Science – #19
- Communications High School of Monmouth County – #31
The application deadline for MCVSD was December 3rd, 2021. Those students who applied will take an entrance exam on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
The entrance exam consists of both a mathematics and language arts section and is multiple-choice. The exam is aligned with New Jersey State Learning standards and details on what standards are tested can be found here.
MCVSD Admissions Cutoff Scores
In order to be admitted to MCVSD students must meet a minimum rating of 75 out of 100 points. These points are awarded through both a students’ grades and their entrance exam scores.
Here is the point system for grades and the entrance exam:

As you can see from the layout above, each section of the entrance exam is scored on a scale of 1-35. So students have a chance to earn a maximum of 70 points on the admission test to go toward their overall rating.

During the boot camp, students will complete 8 full-length practice exams given in a professionally proctored and realistic test environment. Practice exams will be followed by either a 90 minute English or 90 minute Math session with our expert instructors, where students will learn proven test-taking strategies and content-building to ace this challenging entrance exam.
Each class is designed to be interactive and high intensity to get maximum results before the official test day.
Students may enter the boot camp on two dates. They can complete the full 16-day/8 sessions boot camp by signing up by 12/23/21, and starting on the first day (Monday, 12/27/21), or they can sign up by 1/4/22 for the last 12 days/6 sessions of boot camp.
Pricing
Here is the tuition pricing for the boot camp:
- $195/per session (includes Math class, English class, and practice exam, so 1 session = 2 days of Boot Camp)
- $1560 for all 16 days/8 sessions
$1560$1325 if you register by 12/21/21 for all 16 days/8 sessions!- $1175 for 12 days/6 sessions if you register by 1/4/22
- No entry after 1/4/22
